They tried to keep smiling beacause it was Fathers Day
, but it was hell. We didn't even fish. When we tried to anchor, the waves would just crash over the front and soak everything and everyone. We ended up just heading back in.
We did see Hoover at the bar. We stopped to say hi and he said the bite was off.

Got out on Charleston with the kids and headed from the village launch over to Donaldsons bay to fish and have dinner with the kid's grandparents. For us it was pringles and five alive except during the very rough and sometimes wet ride over.
One kid loved it (I think she'll be the bungie jumper in the family)
The other sat himself down on the floor.
Fished for a couple of hrs (no fish) just a coouple of hits. Ride home was a bit calmer and drier.
