Been out fishing Quebec waters the last couple of weeks since tournament season ended and have been rewarded with some great catches including my PB 6.15lb behemoth largemouth bass caught this morning. Tip-up and I were out no more than 15 minutes when the fish hit, it was the first fish of many today. Never seen a bass this big before, not even at a tournament weigh-in or over the gunnel of my boat or a buddies. It was truley the biggest bass my eyes have seen...Fat and pig like that everyone talks about. Cruising around a point we were greeted by the sun and a nice rock/weed transition..it bit a tube jig. Caught some more largies on spinnerbaits and decided to fish smallies on humps and deep rock shoals the rest of the day. Drop-shotting poor boys gobys and GULP! Alive shinners were the ticket to catching some nice smallies and jumbo perch, one being my PB at 14''.
To tame the beast needed two fists..

Been shaking since catching it
Northams caught some fish when the wind picked up
Average smallies for this lake, pulled more than a few nice ones off one spot. Heres Andrew with a few...
Just a wicked day
Happy Thanksgiving and hope everyone had a great weekend!
