Hi there FHers. I recently ran into a little problem with a NorthAMfishing spinnerbait. In mid cast I got a backlash and a large colorado blade from a 3/8oz fleeing sunfish pattern spinnerbait flew off into the bottom of the lake. I figured, what better way to discuss my problem than to contact the people at NorthAMfishing Tackle Co. directly through PMing them right here on fish-hawk.
After describing my problem and sending a few pics to go along with it, I inquired about getting a replacement blade rather than having to purchase a whole new spinnerbait.
Here is the response I got...
NorthAMfishing wrote:Sure thing, just gimme your mailing address. Hey sometimes it happens, we do our best to make sure every spinnerbait gets inspected before it goes out but sometime we get a bad split ring or bad ball bearing
from our supplier from time to time. Believe it or not, you are the first faulty product problem that's come to our attention this year and we've sold a tonne. We stand behind our products with confidence 100%! One blade coming your way.
Nice fish by the way.
All I can say to that is... WOW! I can't beleive it was that easy. Talk about great customer service, and pride in workmanship.
These guys really stand behind their product. I'll definately be adding many more to my collection.
Thanks Frank... NorthAMfishing rocks! 8)

Believe it or not I lost the large Colorado blade of my bleeding sunfish as well. Okay, I pranged mine off my motor but I was pretty surprised when it came up short a blade.

Anyhow, already replaced it so no biggie. I did notice that some of my Northam spinners had better split rings and bearings than others. Possibly the difference between old and new.

yep, that company stands behind their sales.

earlier in the year i had bought a few black on black spinnerbaits from the sportsman show...

i didn't notice how huge the main willowleaf blade was....far too much water displacement to properly burn it, which was its intended purpose.

now, i bought it. buyer beware. there was nothing wrong with it.

however, i inquired about a couple new blades, and in the mail they came!

great service!

(unfortunately i didn't catch a spinnerbait fish this year.... well, bass anyways)

I also lost a blade. I brought it to the Carp show a couple of years ago. My spinner was looked at and I was told to pick another brand new spinner bait to replace it. "We stand by our product" I was told.

And that they do!!!!
