My best advise for White Lake is....work all down trees along the shore Lines...a tube realy works well for this....weed flats in and around Sunsetbay ,is also a great spot for picking up some L/M....Down towards White lake Village...work the Pin weeds with a buzz bait...or a weedless topwater ...such as a scum frog, Moss boss...ect .....Good Luck..Whitelake is one of my favorite Lakes (grew up on it :D )

We are fishing a derby on White Lake this Saturday as well. We have had pretty good luck there in the past. Hope to see you there.

Good Luck

We always go in the Cedar Cove Resort Derby. I forget what the entry fee is. You enter at the store and breakfast is included.

If you're startin from Cedarcove, head to the opposite shore and fish the downed trees. Also roam and fish around the middle of the bay looking for weed patches in the 6-10ft range. Since it is the Cedarcove derby, I believe that it is a 3lb minimum to qualify, in that case I've caught a heck load of 4+lbers throwing big black spinngerbaits with powerworm trailers. Good luck!

I spent almost every summer at Cedear Cove from the time I was 2 until I was about 20.
Excellent lake for Bass and Pike.
If you do fish three mile bay I suggest early in the AM and in the evening, otherwise it is like a made house with all the jetskies, waterskieres etc, etc.
