I've heard that the fishing was good until about a month ago. It's apparantly slowed down. I think the water is very tea stained as well. Are you staying at the main campground by the launch. PM me if you need some tips for some good spots although most of them are the obvious places. The lakers will be between 35 and 60 feet down. And don't be shy of the structure... you usually snag or hook a fish, so its worth losing a couple of lures. I haven't been up there yet this year... but the lake can usually give up some good results. Unfortunately, I have found the bass fishing fairly slow there the last couple of years... but some spots the lakers have definitely co-operated

The walleye are hard to find throughtout the lake. Concentrate on where the rivers flow in... and out
. You can make a 15 minute portage and fish a spot that will have non stop catfish action, with the good numbers of walleye as well.
Just an FYI if you haven't been in there before...if you take any fish out, make sure you follow the regulations on transporting fish. Its a long dirt road out that is checked fairly regularly and its always nice to leave smiling
