A BIG, BIG thanks to F-H's own mikemicropterus.....
After my NEW auger's rip-chord broke whilst on a fishing trip, Mike was able to fix that puppy up for me in about 15 mins!!!!
She's up and running like a top now!
Highly, highly recommend going there for all your auger, motor needs!
Thanks again Mike!

Where abouts is he located? My Honda dealer has closed and I am in need of a shop for future work.

My point being the dude was able to fix my auger, in 15 mins, while I waited and was able to accomodate my schedule....
Working, kids etc its hard to be able to drop stuff off at shops and pick it up etc during daytime hrs.
A HUGE thanks to Mike on this one!

Jimmy,
I went with your suggestion to contact MLS to get my jiffy fixed - 24 hr turnaround, now works like it should - and very good rates. Thanks for the recommendation and thanks to Mike from MLS for his work - Highly recommend him!

See that...free business promotion without breaking the rules...Just need to make sure you have exceptional service like Mike and the promotion is free....Keep it up Mike.
If the guides had some of their clients post reports would that make it o.k??

I don't think its a case of business promotion....
I see it as the guy is amazing at what he does, does a THOROUGH job..meaning if something else is wrong he'll advise you....isn't a BS'er like some mech's/tradespeople I have had the "pleasure" of dealing with.
I mean who, in the middle of ice fishing season, wants or can wait a week or 2 for an auger???
15 minutes guys, 15 minutes and it was fixed!
That..is SERVICE...and experience.
Something sorrely missing in today's day and age.

Ahh but it is the best of business promotion James...Free promotion from happy clients. Because of your post at least one other F-Her has used his service and was jsut as happy as you. He did not pay one dime for it and it is helping his business. Was not saying this is wrong just stating it is the best promotion a business can ask for. He deserves it for sure and like I said it was done by the codes and conduct of this site. Nothing says someone else cannot comment on your service or business.
Again keep up the good work Mike.

Too true Pete,
Then I guess it is.
Good things come to good people. Someone who took the time outta "their" personal time...is gold.
Granted my repair was trivial...but if it only took 15 mins, why is it I'd wait ages someplace else???
Honestly worth switching Mechs for!

guys....there's no issue saying "i hired so and so and we did really well blah blah blah"
what can be an issue is Bob's guide service or Bob's mechanical (you get the idea) posting "my name is Bob and I'm a guide/mechanic and if you want to hire me here is my website/phone number" or words to that effect.
Its covered pretty well in the Code of Conduct
