Well since the day my daughter was born 2 years ago I have long awaited our first fishing adventure . Now considering her age (2) I knew that it would have to be short and sweet , as well as make sure the wife and her where comfortable .

What better day to share this once in a lifetime event then family day . I had already been at the shack for hours making sure it was warm enough and trying to get the fish in a ....decent mood .

My daughter and wife arrived and it was straight to buisness . Breanne held a ice rod for the first time and would not stop jigging.



Although this monster of a perch hit my rod and I did most of the work it was priceless to see her reaction when a fish popped out of the floor!



All that work and it was snack time.



This was the greatest fishing day of my life !

Guys take your kids fishing and enjoy !

Jeez John was it not two weeks ago you posted that you were a new dad??? I guess I am the same soon. June and my guy will be 2.... So is she excited to go back out again??
