I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience fishing Danford Lake in the Kazabazua area, in particular for bass.

:D I have a customer on danford and have for the past 7 or so years and I don't see anyone fishing when I have gone up there and I do it twice a year. Yes there are many cottages but the majority of cottagers just drive around and tube. Now that's not to say the locals don't fish because they know there's no fish. I'm not seeing that. What I see is a Mooneys bay menatlity where watersports are more important fishing. Lots of good fish in Mooneys Bay still but the boat traffic slows the bite. The customer I mentioned does fish the lake and does OK. As far as launches I have only seen 1 main one. Not really much access and there are some very deep sections 300ft plus.

If that is you Claudio pm me and we can set something up there are a couple spots to avoid submereged schoals. :D

Tons of bass.....rockbass, which is great for the kids.

I have been going to a cottage a couple times a year for 5 years now and would also suggest another lac. There are bass in there but you'll usually have a crowd staring at you from the shore as you do your casting, great when you catch and kind of embarrassing when you don't.

But the picture of the 20lb pike (caught 18 years ago, through the ice) hanging in the cottage is enough to make me still wet a line everytime I go up there however.

Way better lakes minutes away...seems like an easy choice.
