I heard a story recently I just had to comment on. My in-laws live on the Nation River near Chesterville. Every spring fishermen line the river about this time of year (or a bit earlier) for the mud pout bite. No problem usually; a respectable bunch. A couple weeks ago though a few people show up to do some fishing. They pulled their truck off the main road and right beside the river. A neighbor of my in laws saw this an asked them to move the truck back up to the side of the road (he owns the land up to the river where the truck was parked where he plants corn). The guy was nice enough about that and did move the vehicle. Next time the neighbor looks out the window he sees the guys taking all the trees down beside the river with a chainsaw!! Like, do you think that's really a good idea? Especially if a guy doesn't want you parking there do you really think he wants you taking down all his trees?? Unbelievable! And some people wonder why people aren't always thrilled to see fishermen show up!?!
Anyway, just goes to show some people just have no respect at all!
Why do some fishermen ruin things for the rest of us?

I was out at lunch tossing a line from shore around Kemptville for some crappies as the amount of garbage was sickening as a fellow older man was just leaving the spot while he had picked up some left over garbage and gave him a thumbs up for doing a good deed.
Please be considerate as that could be your place.....

where did this happen exactly if you dont mind me asking, I've been picking up alot of garbage off the riverbank too. Crazy this day and age and people still leave there crap all over the ground. This one spot someone built a fire pit out of stones but left garbage all over the ground along with the guts of dozens of pout. You would think if you had any brains that you would at least burn the garbage and fish guts if you had a fire, but to cut someones trees down on there own property..whaa i tell ya, there lucky they didn't shot, mistaken for a coyote

While still under this topic I was out for an evening stroll with my girlfriend last night in the large property of forest by my place as enjoying the sounds of nature and the ducks in the pond we come across a pile of old tires, plastic bags full of garbage etc as we find out there is a road trail that comes off the main road!
Well so much for our nature walk........
We picked up what we could and feel like there is no justice for these lazy F"ers
See you out there Nipps if you are out there on Wednesday; )
