We may just get something out east yet, at least they are in the eastern side of Ottawa. Bout time I say.

This will give LeBaron's a good run for their clientele. I was at the Quebec City Sail Baron store last summer, and what was supposed to be a quick one-hour "look-see" ended up being a 4-hour browse !

The prices were cheap-to-fair, and the selection was out of this world. They also had a HUGE hunting section and pretty impressive gun shop/counter.

Not much in the line of fishing stuff.... so I don't think anyone needs to worry and quite frankly I think we have enough choice in outdoor gear. :?

I just Googled Trainyards, because I had only vaguely heard of the place before. I'm disappointed: it seems like a crappy location for an outdoors store, especially if you live in the west end. I doubt I'll ever shop there.

It's going to be right on my way home, so I might have to look for a second job to pay for the afterwork browsing.

It's a short skip off the Queensway and is certainly more accessible than Lebaron's for central and east Ottawa inhabitants.

Yeah, but I don't care about those guys.
I want a big outdoors store that's handy to my house, my camp and my fishing spots. For me, west is best, and east is least.

Hopefully there is a store with great selection and actually gets you stock when you need it.
