If the thing goes after people, I wouldn't think Musky would be off the menu...

This is nuts......by the sounds of it muskie wouldn't be safe. This is the part that kinda freaks me out.....................................................
Quote
" The northern snakehead can survive four days out of water, thanks to a primitive lung above its gills. AND IT "WALKS" ON LAND!
Aye, Capt. Quint, the slippery devil slithers from one stream or lake to another. It can "walk" for half a klick"
End quote.

Damn now fishing season will require guns.. I bet this bugger will bite ya a good one on land if you pee pee it off.. time to sharpen the knives and get a nice small hatchet available for this freak of nature.. I guess its all about evolution and this one is one step up from the rest.

Yep - the video tells it all. Some Peck...head buys a fish which runs out of the entertainment factor and then throws it in the river because its now a pet and he/she doesn't have the parts to just kill it. The ecosystem is too fragile to support the thoughtless contributions of brainless people.
My 2 Cents worth.

Not sayin' I want them here, but that video was awesome! Looks to me like it killed that bass for sport with no real desire to eat it. Thats one mean fish.
Looks like a bowfin on roids.

The same thing happened back when the ninja turtles were popular. All kinds of kids bought red eared sliders and released them into the wild when they realized how hard they were to take care of.
It put a huge strain on eco systems they were released into.
In fact, you can still buy little ones at pet stores. They're sold illegally though. They have to be at least 4 inches before they can be sold.
Mine is a little larger than a dinner plate and shall live the rest of his happy days in my pond, safe from Snakeheads

Eli I'm not sure awesome is the word I'd use to describe that. Sick and disturbing is the first thing I thought and probably illegal where this was done. As someone else said this video says it all.
