Get yourself a Sebile(pronounced stebile) slender eel, the one I had was bronze, it's killer. I say had cause a pike took it from me the second day of my Gan Lake trip, it was very productive for the day and a half I fished it. My Rapala Flat Rap did well also til a big butt bass swiped it from me! Joe.

Ouch -That's an expensive fish!!
Did you re-spool your line this year? Sounds like something not right with the line or your knots...

I have looked at the Sebiles and they look superb, but the price tag prevented me from buying one so far...

It was my fault, it was the knots, can kick myself! After I lost my flat rap I checked my knots and fixed it, what a shame, I'm more upset about all the fish I wud have caught than losing the lures. Highly recommend the Sebile! Joe.

I spent about $14 U.S. at a fishing show back in March, it's a suspending lure and has a nice action to it, not many out there so fishies haven't seen them. I did well with it, goes about 2 feet down and I fiahed it with pause, jerk, retrieve method.

I've looked on their web site and they don't list the one that you are talking about. does it go by another name?

That's the one Geos! Moonshine, I've checked out the site also and for some reason it's not there. The only thing I can say is find out where the nearest dealer is and call and ask or leave a question on the site, I haven't been able to find them anywhere in NW Jersey! Good hunting! Joe.

Hi Joe,
I fished a Flat Rap for the first time, in your town lake. It was greenish with a yellow perch pattern. I caught my best fish (a large mouth) on it and she hammered it. You can really feel vibration on it using braided line with a jerk-pause retrieve.

By the way if you go to www.sebile.com and click on the catolog you can find the slender eel. I believe it's page 21.
