On the water early and wetting my line by 6 am

7 am I see a big swirl, a swing and a miss and before I could collect my thoughts another swing and a miss and before I could take my next breath "FISH ON"

My personal best at 50 1/2 inches and my first "boated" musky on topwater. Topwater is NOT for the faint of heart.

Now that is a beautifull fish mr.j

Unfortunatly I only had a swing and a miss on my lures all day.

If I remember correctly this is a male. It hit real hard and faught real hard and it was a bit of a battle as it took a run under the boat.

Placide did an awesome job netting this fish and I have to admit I was very intimidated taking it out of the net.

This fish wasn't happy and real strong and my advice is always keep taking a lot of pictures.

See how hard it was to hold on when out of the blue it start to thrash in my grip.



And always my favorite action shots of musky are the release shots.
