I normally have fished the bay at least a dozen times by this point in the season, however this spring when i went the week after walleye/pike opener the waters levels were very low and the fish were not where I normally find them in spring/early summer and only caught one tiny sauger.
Has anyone been recently? and if so have the water levels recovered at all? Was thinking of giving it another go this evening...but if its still really low I would rather hit up a local lake.

The water levels are still very low.
The only place I've been able to find the walleye have been in areas with quite a bit of current and pretty deep (35- 40 ft). They have been biting pretty well in those areas however. Walleye man and I will be out tonight so if you see a 14ft sylvan with a 15hp merc... feel free to stop and say hi.
Good luck where ever you decide to go out tonight!
