Lake St.Francis and area for bass

Hey just wondering where some good spots for bass there are?

dude, bass are everywhere. Part of the fun of fishing is finding your own spots and using your own techniques to hopefully land some quality fish. If not, do more research and move on to your next spot. I think Charles Sim set the Canadian record with a 30lbs bag there last fall, ask him for his spots :wink:

30.35 lbs and he was fishing a sand flat with tubes ;)

ok thanks... I'm guessing he was fishing near the opening of lake st francis near lancaster

This section of the river really has my attention for a fall trip, however, I have been told this is a tricky piece of river to navigate.

there are lots and lots of shallow sand flats, shoals and semi and submerged Islands. but just like the 1000 Islands the channels are well marked.

I guess I'd better get a chart of the area and start to study it.

Where is the launch located for this area?

I think this be an AWESOME spot for a Fall Fish-Hawk Get Together.
