Potential Float Tube Spots

Well I've got tomorrow off work. I was going to take off early to watch the Netherlands game (GO KNVB!!) and I decided just to take the whole day and go out in my float tube.
Here's where I reach some problems. I really have no idea of where to go. Most of my usual fishing spots are pretty shallow and I don't think they'd work out that well for floating.
So I was wondering if anyone knew of some nice places for tubing at this time of year. I'm not asking for any secrets or special fishing holes. Just maybe some good places to fish where I wont be whisked away.
I was thinking mooneys bay??? I have no idea really.
Any help is appreciated

Vydon Acres off Galetta Side Road, 20 min West of Kanata on the Ottawa River would be good. Follow the signs to the ferry pick up that shuttles to below the Fitzroy Dam. There is a large bay sheltered from the wind, it holds great Musky/Pike/L/smouth bass and walleye!!! Worth the drive. If u need an exact location message me I'll send u a Google map image!!! Fishing last 3 days was top notch!! Musky are on right now.

Thanks for the info and tips everyone. I just went to the bays at Petrie Island. Roasted in the sun and caught a few little fish, but nothing worth reporting on.
I met some friends and went to the beach there afterwards to cool down. Not too shabby a day.

I have been able to catch 1-3lb bass in the bay near the house off trim. Senko and jigging it works wonders out there. caught 6 in the past 2 days and have had 3 ons and one was a huge ---- but he threw that lure at my head pretty good.
