This happened on the Rideau river on Sunday, I took these pictures on Monday. This guy was swimming near Manotick and swam under a dock in about 6 feet of water and something chomped his arm briefly and then let go.

looks nothing like a musky bite.
more like a drunken guy ripping his arm on the corner of the dock.

Snakefish!!
Unless this musky had 3 rows of teeth, I would go ahead and chalk this up as dock scrapes.

Why do you guys doubt everything?
Could very well have been a musky and I agree that alcohol probably was involved. Alcoholic musky have been known to let themselves go and over time lose many of their teeth (caused by poor dental hygiene).
Inebriated muskellunge experience mood swings can become unpredictable and frequently lash out violently. This looks to be the case in this situation.
My two cents anyway.

Sure looks like it could be a bite, I would think that Muskie teeth leave that type of marks. Guess you had to be there to know for sure but why not the word of Tlunge ? Still cool to see that a fish may protect an area like that

I've gotten chomped down on by an 18" pike while removing a hook that did more damage to my finger and thumb than that musky did to that guy's entire arm...

Actually, we've boated a 36'' pike from the Rideau with marks similar to those on the guy's arm. Unlike pike they do have canine type teeth on the roof of their mouths. That would explain the middle marks. They are afterall the top of the foodchain apex predator and they are extremely territorial.
Personally, it wouldn't surprise me.
Interesting comments though, most of you who have replied probably never even caught a musky
