1st Place Tournement Won me a BASS BOAT!!!!!

This years fishing coudn't be better........
Got some huge pike...... HUGE smallies......
But today was something else.....
Went to a local tournement.........
Well...... derby.....
EUMMM....... OK OK was 24/7 & Bass_Hunter V.S. Bass_addict and Dore819....
The winning prize......... A BRAND NEW BASS BOAT!
As we all know all tourneys should have a blast off....
NOPE... paul and dore.... got in early..... CHEATERSSS
we get there at 7 am.
The only rule was biggest bass wins the boat.....
i know what you guys are saying ...
WHAT BOAT... Well Almontefisher can answer that question..... but first the Untold story....
We start the day slow....... spinnerbaits.... negative.....
crank baits.... negative..... YUM dinger BLACK....AFFIRMATIVE!
start filling up the live well.....
it was the best start of ANY tourney....
Landing my first nickel large mouth this year..... on the first log and the first cast......
Reaching in the water to grab the BRUTE!
Examining the bucket..... Yep true HOG
5.6 lbs of PURE HEALTH.
not a mark on the beast.... feeding like a king.
only the tail of a perch sticking out of its mouth.... they were feeding heavy.
Do i even need an E.A.P. for this one????
Bass were every where......
Buzzbait...... CHECKED...
Yeah about the sweat shirt... we got cought in a down pour.
Senko's ??? Yum dinger that is... CHECKED.
AS we are drifting into a slopy bay.
Bass_hunter pulls out his ....... rod
that has a frog on it....
cast's 2 miles into shore..... and nothing but the most beautifull thing hit his lure!

Good thing he was using my 7' jig and toad kistler rod. thanks to ANDY
Today was just about setting the hook Here and there.
the bass were ON!
as we are working the triangle heads.
2 BRUTES hit one after the other...... BING BADANG....
our thumbs... NUMB...
Our ribs... Broken for hook sets...
its about 12 ish... High NOON.
we go to shore for the weight in......
PAUL and DORE are GONE!!!!
