Mississippi Lake - On July 14th 2010 the ORWL held their 5th event of the season on their home lake. The weather was perfect and the fishing was solid all day with a pitching jig bite in the morning and a trolling crawler harnesses in the mid afternoon.

Lots of fish out in the main basin of the Lake.
The large fish for the event was a nice 24 inch walleye taken while trolling a spinner and crawler behind a bottom bouncer. The club had a great turn out of anglers and in the afternoon you could see many of the members trolling the open water out near BaitCasters and Loon Island.
Hayward and Bertrim still lead the way in Boater and Non-Boater with 476 inches, which works out to an amazing 19 inch fish average for 5 events.

Just one of many fish caught during the day on Mississippi Lake.
The next event for the ORWL is Bob's Lake on July 31st. New members are always welcomed and more information about the ORWL can be found on their website at orwl.ca
