Quebec lake help

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Quebec lake help

Post by Seabass81 »

Alright so I paid $62 for a non resident quebec licence . I was thinking about Lac Ste marie but read there is a tournement .

Any well known bass area's that you can recomend ? I am not looking for secrets I just dont want to fish amongst 100 bass boats . Wanna stay within 2 hours of Ottawa and looking for relatively easy access .

Any suggestions would be helpfull . The only thing I know in Quebec Lac Beachamp and Pig al's

Lac Poisson Blanc would be a good start. Lake maps are available and the smallmouth action can be quite good.

Craig,
The only launch on the lake is the one at Whitefish Lodge. Charlie charges $5 I believe to launch and park. Takes a while to figure the lake out but once you do you will be there a lot.
