Does this make ANY sense to ANY of you ?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

It's a carp that just looks a little like a bass :-)

cracking 6lbs is amazing - but not big enough to mount.

but this guy, who caught it, sounds different than the bass hunters...as such, he'll never caught another...unless you take him to another private quebec lake...which is up to you.

dont worry, the lake(s) have more, and bigger.

If I get one that cracks 7lbs, i'm keeping it....and i'm not ashamed to admit it!

Just remember who you bring back into those lakes!

(and i think i'd be throwing some more cranks on those unpressured lakes....they work!)

well steve.

believe it or not.

i dont care but here goes.

the same island 2 days befor mike landed that 6.5

i casted a big-o white. large size.

there a sunken log there.

and the BRUTE gave me a chance.

but the story goes that i had my drag maxed out .

i was fishing buzzbait an houre befor and you know how you set the drag.

well the brute came out twice right there in my face, mikes face and my brothers face.....

i missed her... unhooked 2-3 feet from the boat... biggest fish iv seen yet.

we all swear that its the same fish mike landed.

maybe its just me dreaming about the big girl....

but im 90% positive it was the same bass.

im thinking that the brute was feeding around the island and that was her spot.

kind of territorial or somehting.

only a biologist will know that tho! :x

the end

Hey torpedo, I hope that fish didn't swallow the kid in your pic. Best EAP ever hehehe
Fishing is a heritage we need to teach. Take a kid fishing! And take me too while you're at it.

When we snapped that picture of Tyler with that bass we were joking around about dedicating it to 24/7. I see we did a great job to have gotten it noticed.

Mama Wolfe
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
