Fish in the rain

This is a true story (cough) told by a friend of a friend.
So I gets up early Saturday morning as planned, pack up all the gear and the dog, hook up the boat, and just as I was pulling out of the driveway the sky opens up with a big crack of thunder and lightning and a torrential downpour. Bummer.
So I back the boat back into the garage, unpack the gear and the dog and tiptoe back into the bedroom. I crawl in beside wifey, feeling a little amourous, and spoon up and whisper in her ear, "Holy crap, it's raining cats and dogs out there". She replies with, "Hmmpphh. Can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that?!"
Moral of the story? Take your wife with you!
