Shopping for Senkos

Been in Ottawa for almost 4 years and still don't know a good fishing store other than Le Baron.
Does anyone know of a good store in the Ottawa area that is well stocked in bass lures? I'm specifically looking for Senkos...

Grey Thunder: I have a large selection of Senkos at Paddletales. From Barrhaven, take 416 to exit 34 at Kemptville. Go east on hwy 43 for 17 minutes and you are at Winchester. Straight through the lights at 31/43 and take a right at the 3 way stop. We are the 2nd building on the right. Lots of other toys too.
It should take you 40-45 minutes.

It's def worth the short trip ... no rush-hour traffic in Winchester either.

Last week I was at Bits n Baits in Stittsville. I remember they had Wave and Yamamuto senkos. IMO, both very good quality brands.

Canadian tire at Merivale and Hunt Club carries some, as well as the CT in Perth....Perth probably has the best selection of plastics in Ottawa, no offence to any of the dealers, but it is true. The Perth CT usually has quite the stock if you are looking for bass supplies.

I've never been to Paddletales but I've heard good thing. Ozile's at Petrie is surprisingly well stocked. Talk to John, he'll get you the good stuff.

all those are good.. we are lucky to have as many good outlets as we do.. if you more west, Bennett's in Smiths Falls is a great shop as well..

lots of plastic at perth C.T. but dont waste your money on yamamuto you are paying for the name others are cheaper & just as good.

Has anyone found a quality altrnative to the actual Yamamotos? In the States there is a brand called Kenai (sp?) that I liked, but I haven't been able to find them in Canada. The Yums aren't bad, but don't have the same action as the real thing. Any thoughts?

Yum dingers and wave worms are second to none including Yamamoto, and I will 2nd gord at bits n baits stocks the good stuff.

If you're talking Bass, Ed at Paddletails is the guy to go and see. Lots of bass stuff and some bass advice to go with it. If Paddletails doesn't have something you're looking for, Ed will more than likely be able to get it for you.
Definitely, worth the trip. Bring lots of cash, credit cards, debit cards, etc...
