Weekend smallie's

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Weekend smallie's

Post by Dcaster »

So i went up to my buddy's cottage near barry's bay last weekend to try

to lay into some lunker smallie's. Saturday look like it was going to be

very nice until we got out on the water and the weather started moving in.

We didn't get to anything all day until dinner, then my bud finally got a

smallie. I on the other hand got skunked all day . So because the

bite was so bad during the day we decided to try our luck under the

moonlight using top waters. Thats where my buddy laid into this just

under 4lbs smallie.

Looked like he'd been eating alot....

All i got that night was a couple of huge rock bass.

So the next day looked promising with the sun shinning and calm waters.

I finally got myself a smallie, nothing to talk about but was just happy to

get a actually smallie. Then landed this nice 2.7lbs smallie on a tube.

And the fish of the weekend was my buddy's 4.75lbs smallie

All these fish were caught in 20-30 fow.

All in all it was a blast to get out fishing as it always is, and its nice to fish

somewhere new.

Cheers

I think that just might be his new favorite hoodie after that lunker.

Absolutely nothing bad to say about the vendetta rod, solid rod, awesome price.
