... got on the water by about 3pm. Met BA at the launch and the rain was constant. Headed out to The Hump... I was using a hybrid and BA was on a (Drum Roll PLEASE!!!!) ..... Top Water!!
WHAM! ... in about three feet of water.

***EDIT***
It was pointed out that BA is clearly holding a Northam Spinner... oops! He did catch about 97% of his fish on a toppy... I just thought that one was just one of many!

Keep in mind that its raining quite steady and it is kind of dark. In retrospect, I should have had the flash on....
We just kept nailing the smallies... me on a variety of Hybrid, suspending crank (Rattling) and senkos...
Smallies were all in shallow 2 to 4 feet of water. Largies in deeper 6 to 10 feet of water. Pike... well... pike were everywhere!! Water temp was between 60.7 and 61.2 the whole time out.
I caught a decent largie...

We ended up with about 20 or so fish between the two of us... off the water by about 7pm.
But the day went to Paul for two reasons:
Reason 1:
![Image](http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/2084/img00389201009301752.jpg)
Just a pig...
![Image](http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/4514/img00390201009301753.jpg)
Reason 2:
He lost the biggest smallie I have EVER seen... he got it on a toppy... but he had it lightly hooked and it jumped while along side of the boat... no net... no fish.
What a pig.
Next time!!!
Maybe it is because I wasn't wearing anything orange?
