the wife and I rented a cottage for a week and I got some fishing in :) The bass went crazy for the top water lures!!! At some point a fish snapped my 40lp test power pro braid.... wish I could known what kinda fish it was :P Here are a few pics

That is great... I will guess that you wife was the photog... heck of a job!

Great first report.

Sounds like you had some great topwater action.

About loosing the fish on 40lb Power Pro. I use PP on a lot of applications, but I have found it's knots to be "brittle". I shows up on larger, heavier lures that put a good deal of stress on the knot during the launch of the cast. With the lighter baits such as senkos, tubes etc. you will never notice. You may want to consider a leader of mono, or flouro.
