Hey everyone, I just wanted to get some of your opinions on a product called Slimers. Has anyone had a chance to use these? and what do you think? Seem like a cool bait just thought I would get some info before I bought some.

Only on TV (Italo I think)
Worked well for him

, fell apart after awhile and I think he even ripped one apart after it got dinged by a fish, but he mentioned they held up fairly well. I looked for them this year but never came across them for sale.
Not much help I know.

cool, seems like a live bait alternative. I know leeches and such are hard to come by in my area anyways. I would imagine they would keep a bit better then live bait? seems pretty unique wonder why it's not catching on? maybe it is and I just don't see it. I like unique stuff.

Gulp! leaches are awesome, especially the 5" size. I find the 3" size too firm, but the 5" one is really supple and wiggles very well when drop-shotted or rigged like live-bait.
Never heard of Slimers, but I'd say your best bet as a live bait alternative for leaches, is the Gulp! 5" bait, in black.

If memory serves they were almost in like a sausage casing or something like a synthetic cheese cloth when he pulled it apart and the material inside was a heavily scented sand/clay like material that had clumping qualities. But I wondered how long they would hold up myself.
All coming back now...lol

there was a post on this a while ago too, hey don't seem to be catching on too well or at least being talked about. Since my last post i picked up another bottle of white and some other colour..been so long since i fished i cant remember what one. I would use them before gulp baits in the right conditions.
