They are all fun to catch and a three fish day is good whether big or small. Some places you just gotta weed through lots of little guys before the oppurtunity for a big one arises....you should be due anytime.

With the amount of small muskies I caught this year, I'm looking forward to the future. In 10 years the rideau will be full of big fish
Probably not.... It will likely remain pretty much the same...most of these fish probably don't have a rweal big maximum growth potential...a few will. The rest will fall somewhere in the middle if they are lucky enough to survive long enough. I fish a place that is much similar, I thought the same way...it's been ten years, things haven't changed...still lots of small guys between the few good ones. If you want consistently bigger fish by average you gotta spend time on big water

All 3 fish are bigger than my PB. Thanks for making me feel good about that nips.
I'll get my first one soon, hopefully before the snow comes and when there is a weekend nice enough to not have 7472 km/hr winds!
Feels like the season is winding down fast... any chance you feel like taking a newbie out?
In any case, nice fish guys!

Very nice lookin' "runts".
Were they striking your lure at all, or basically just wrapping their teeth around it?

No they weren't hitting very hard, the fish in the last pic hit right at the boat, just nipped the back hook. The same with the first pic
