Checked out all the bays this afternoon. The water is high and there is some flooding on the lower points i.e. there is water right up to the gate at Walley Bay.
There is brown slush about 6 feet wide around the edges of the ice in crappy bay so be careful, especially with the high water, the levels may fluctuate and you won't have any idea what the ice is doing.
Take care and Merry Christmas

Hey guys,
Did anyone check out crappie bay and the ice around the corner if you walk down from crappy bay towards the bait shop the weekend that just passed? It's still in the bay, but I like fishing closer to a bigger channel adjacent to the bridge. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about.. Its a hundred foot walk from the main crappie spot haha.
thanks!
