We didn't manage any monsters but caught enough eaters for a good little snack tomorrow!
They were all caught on tip-ups rigged with a drop shot and a 2" minnow.

Here's to catching bigger ones next time!

Good job man, just a question. Are the possession limits different in quebec? I see 9 eye on the iceSpezza_Fan wrote:I finally got out on the ice this afternoon from 3:00 to 5:30.

Right on I figured as much, heres another question for ya. I don't think your allowed to use perch as bait, once again maybe different in quebec. Someone want to shed some light on this.Spezza_Fan wrote:Hey Nips,
The limit is 5 per person on the river and we were two guys fishing with licenses so we are safe. We eneded the night with 5 each and a perch each. I kept the perch to go for some big pike later this year.
Good question. I've never used perch as bait as I never really fished for them. I just figured that if I caught them I could fish with them. I think I can only fish with them as dead bait though. Not sure. But at the price of a dozen minnows these days, I sure hope I can fish with them.nips wrote:Right on I figured as much, heres another question for ya.
