I finally made it out on the lake for some fishing fishing today.
I am camped out at santeelakes-campground http://www.santeelakes-campground.com we arrived just after xmas, and then went shoppin around for for a pontoon.
We found a 2006 21ft sedona fishing pontoon with a 90 yamaha on the back in minit cond. (new camp boat)
Today I took it out on Lake Marion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Mario ... _Carolina)
Catfish here should avg 20-30 lbs, a good size is 55lbs and biggest from this lake is 109lbs guess what I'm looking for:)

I'm having issues with my gallery atm so ill post pics later.

FYI I had to break ice to get out, about 2cm thick

Hi Jay
Good to hear from you again - glad you are able to relax a bit and get some fishing in. I'm sure you had a busy summer at the camp. Those are some incredible cats!! Must be quite a tussle.

Have a good break and someday we'll look you up at Nipissing.
