Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has tips for fishing cobden lake in the winter. My shack currently has about 20feet of water under it. Pretty sure that is good depth for pike. let me know what is good bait/good time/depth

I'd say you'll find 'em no prob where your shack is now, just try fishing the whole column. I was there on the weekend and caught one on a golden shiner down 8' over 60fow and another hugging bottom with a lipless crank in 30fow...

How's the ice looking on Muskrat? I want to get out a little in the Subaru instead of sticking near the town.

Well I put my shack out a couple of weeks ago, was over 10 inches then. Subaroo weighs abit less then my Crewcab f150, so I would say you r safe

Just scored an Eskimo pop-up. Will probably be out with the girlfriend this weekend to try it out. Thanks for the offer - much appreciated. Happy Fishing!

How is the Cornerview way to get on? I'm driving a Subaru, so I won't have the ground clearance of my old truck, but it is all wheel drive. Is there a lot of snow? I'm trying to avoid getting out and pulling the toboggan.

Well just got back from Muskrat lake. Beautiful day, but fishing was not good, not for me anyway. Tried our luck for lakers out near Hydro Bay, no luck not even a sniff.
Then headed back towards Cobden to fish the bays, and again not even a bite. We were in 5 feet of water and worked out way deep, nothing, but it was a great day anyway!
Cheers

Let me clarify, BW was skunked, I at least managed to get some perch on Sunday. Time to change that signature, eh BW?

				Signature changed. Lol
Not sure I know where Center View is. Is it on the Beachburg side of the lake?
I know where Water View, Corner View and McFarlain Rd entrances are.
