This is not any "Official" Fish Hawk outing or anything... but there always seems to be interest for guys to come up and fish some of our QC lakes!

So... here it is! An open invitation to all to come on up to the Gatineau Hills and get your fish on!

Here are the details:

Sunday, January 23rd:

I will be leaving the farm in Alcove (5 minutes north of Wakefield and about 3 minutes from the 105) at 7:15am to get to the Restaurant in Lac St-Marie for breakfast at 8am.

If anyone does not feel comfortable getting themselves to St-Marie, feel free to meet me at the farm.

After breakfast, we will hit St-Marie for a couple of hours waiting for the rest of the stragglers to get there.

At 11am we will head to the trout lake that is about 15 minutes away. No 4x4s necessary... but likely have to walk in about 50 yards or so...

We will be fishing until dark or we get sick of it.

Here is a quote from a post that outlines Bass Addict's favorite trout bling for up there;

Any questions or carpooling arrangements... post them here!

Sound off so we can get an idea what kind of turn out we can expect!

Here are some maps to Lac St-Marie where we will be all meeting. Pump this address into Google Maps;
102 chemin Lac-Sainte-Marie Lac-Sainte-Marie, QC J0X 1Z0

That is the approximate address of the restaurant. The access point to Lac St-Marie is on the maps below.

At this point I'm in. It's been a long time for me. This really sounds like a great trip. Might give me a chance to try to put a video together.

I'd better start to round up my fishing stuff.

How many lines is a person allowed while ice fishing in Quebec?
