I don't recall propane heaters in the past needing a filter . My 30 year old Martin camping heater still works great . I tried it yesterday for the first time in many years . It's whole life has been on a 10lb bulk tank for ice fishing plus 12 days non stop off 20 lb tanks after the ice storm .I call that Reliable , which is exactly what I want for portable heat . Cheers
btw they still make the same heater after all this time . google it

Troll I'm sure you'll be very happy with your new heater . I just checked at Cabelas and the over 200 reviews were very good . There's no mention of filters or problems . Nice looking rig . I'm sure you're hoping to use it lots cause that means you'll be fishing !! Cheers
