Hi,

One of my best friend is coming from France for few weeks here in Ottawa.
I would like to make him discover what Ice fishing is and would like to rent a hut/shack for a day.

Do you know where I can find one (except Petrie island as it looks like you can't rent on Walleye bay)?
Maybe you have a big hut an want to share/rent?

Please let me know, it would be for one day (Saturday or Sunday) in February.

Hi Tussman,

We rent ice shacks on Mississippi Lake. All have a wood stove in them so you are nice and warm. Our package includes firewood, holes drilled, a dozen minnows and the shack.
Mike got a 6.04 lb pickerel in one this morning! And we've had quite a good perch bite during the day.

They also rent them on constance lake. I dont know the prices though. I was there the other day, landed 5 perch and a little pike in 2hrs. I had something big on, but lost it. Then somthing bit my buddy clean off, since it was only minutes apart, I assume the same fish. I've heard there are decent pike in there....
