Thanks. I thought it is a flat $8 parking fee based on Gatineau city page.
http://www.gatineau.ca/page.asp?p=trans ... municipaux
Stationnement du port de plaisance Jacques-Cartier
In parc Jacques-Cartier, rue Laurier
Rates:
$98 per month
Fixed rate of $8 per day
Is this the city owned site for parking for car/trailer? Or I have to oark at Hull Marina's site?
Any cheap option to enter this area so I can fishing beneath the Nepean point / Rideau fall? I have a 16ft boat. Is the ramp at Ottawa side Blair road Ok for my boat launch?

I've never paid there, never had problems, no tickets, I usually drop in after work, fish until it's dark and then pull the boat out.
I can say that in the past 2 years I've been there at least 30 times.. Maybe more.. I live in Hull so it is the closes launch to me.

Were you park at the city owned parking lot or hull marina slot? It could be because you parked there after work. I will double check when I go there tomorrow. Any good spots recommended for a morning action other than cats? Thanks.

Past the bridge on your left there's a island, between there and the shore there's a lot of wood in the water and I've caught plenty small mouth bass there.
Before the island, again on the left there's a shallow flat. Nice to hit with a topwater for large mouth bass.
Good luck.

Its also a great launch for late season. I believe you don't have to pay after 5pm or something. I have gotten a ticket once before there.
