Will be there camping, probably fish with a canoe or fish from shore.

What kind of fish does it produce, and which part of the lake?

Thanks gang.

Gin, Try between the Island and the rest stop area. It is about 7-12 ft deep and holds some nice SM and Pike. There is also a rumor that Blue pike were put in there as a test. THere are also tons of lakers. Try a 1oz jig (white) and jig bottom in the deep parts. Let us know how you do

Lakers?!

That's a nice target I didn't have a chance to aim before.

Where can I find some heavy jig heads? The heaviest in LeBaron is 1/2oz. A quick search shows CCB's msg about using even 3 oz jig for lakers. Never seen one.

which silver?

GIN, check out Paddletales or Baitcasters. If not try BPS on-line.

This Silver is near Sharbot lake, there's a provincial park.

Some Canadian Tire carry 1oz jig. Try CT in Carleton Place. It's $2.99 each, black or white.
