2 New PB's

Went out on Big Rideau today with Tony Sleiman. Since it was forecast-ed to be so calm in the morning we planned to jig for Lakers for a little. Obviously the forecast was a little off and it ended up being quite gusty. No matter however because we ended up catching 4 trout. 3 of which were all Tony's and 1 was my PB, it was about 3 pounds, a small guy but still big enough to take the top of the leaderboard. I hooked up on 2 others but they spat before we could see 'em. Once the bite slowed down we moved into a nice rocky shoreline with a bit of weeds. I was Dropshotting and Tony was dragging a beaver. I felt a little resistance on the rod tip so I set the hook and up comes a 4 and a half pound smallie, biggest one ive ever seen. That pretty much finished up the day for me. All in all a succesfull day on the water. Hopefully to kick off this year I might be able to fish as a non-boater in a tournament.
