got a chance to go to big rideau lake for some small mouth bass..they were only 20 feet deep and dragging tubes did a good job of it....here's a few

beautiful day but a bit windy...

Image

one of the better fish that day...

Image

they all were very plump...

Image

the fatty of the day....

Image

then I thought ....Let's go try and find a large mouth..

Image

after that it was getting late and there is always another day......they all came in about 20 feet of water, all the smallies were caught on tubes, of course Gambler flipping tubes on a 3/8 hand poured jig.....the large mouth hit a 3/8 ounce Gambler Ninja jig and a Yamamoto Kreature........the water temp was 46 so maybe a week left if it doesn't get too cold at night........

Beautiful bass. Haven't fished Big Rideau yet but those are amazing fish.

Gotta love the late fall small mouth bite.

Mike!!

Thanks for the amazing report. I love those bronze backs!!!

You give a nice break down about the whole process... bait, water temp, depth... LOVE IT!

That shot of your boat also gets the juices running!!!

Thanks!!

I would guess that you are hand pouring your own jigs... I would love to see a break down of how you do it if you have time. Pics, break down of the equipment needed, techniques...

Great idea, a video would also be nice, but pics would do.
