ice conditions on big rideau

Does anyone know how the ice is on big rideau from the locks at port elmsley to the island which i believe is stone house island.
Was thinking of going out tomorrow afternoon for some crappie.

That is the Lower Rideau.

Rumour is a bunch of work got done out there this week. Roads plowed etc.
Hopefully the long range forecast is wrong.

Was out at Rideau Ferry on Wednesday.
Good ice but if you ventured out to the "crust" with quad or truck there were issues.
