In a recent controversial thread authored by Whistleblower, I pointed a very thinly veiled finger at who I thought the author was, and that person was Trevor Kunopaski. In a couple conversations since that post, the last being a very pleasant one with Trevor himself, that accusation has been proven to be absolutely in error. For this, and any fallout that may have occurred as a result of this accusation I truly apologise. Trevor and I have had our differences in the past but have always managed to work things out and I regret my error.

Only real men apologize for wrongdoings

That's a very solid thing you did Ed and I commend you for it.

Trevor has been villainized in the past for his Militant approach to what he believes in and I know he (like all of us) has made mistakes and errors in judgement in dealing with his convictions. He has really worked hard at being positive since his "banning" bye Rengade Bass (which I personally believe was totally unjustified because of a post that he wrote that was honest and way too direct) and is very serious and works hard to advance the sport of competitive bass fishing in Canada. I had the pleasure of sharing the Pearl with him at the B1 and he really has a passion for the game that is genuine.

He has been raked over the coals bye many bye people that really don't know him and are very quick to judge and condemn him. He is a very intelligent person and a fierce competitor who I think is one of the top sticks in the area when on his game. He is a dedicated father and I personally know that he does not speak any ill will towards Renegade Bass or it's competitors. He totally respects the anglers that fish bye the "code".

I hope that your post Ed will positively change people's views on Trev. He will never make a good politician but his heart is in it when it comes to tournament bass fishing in Eastern Ontario.
