Big Rideau lake trout report?

Hi folks -

Any reports for late summer lakers on this lake? - I used to have decent success up and down the channel near Murphy's point. Have not been up here for close to 10 years (not to mention been just as long on this site which has turned in an amazing machine! - good work).

Camping for a week at the park.

Well that's 1 way to make me think I'll be looking at a Big Rideau Lake Trout report! Go do it, then post a report please.

Summer has been great so far. Only got skunked once and upon reflection it was more mistakes I made than anything else.

Tore up the lower end of my boat, still not repaired, haven't been on the water since the Friday before the civic holliday....this weekend looks like it might be a bust too....

...might have to take an extra day off here and there once I get the boat back, since weekends I can fish for them are running out.

EDIT: This year I'm finding the eastern side of the channel to be a little more productive, down the entire length.
