Another idea, this is what I do with my iphone, film yourself with your catch and then freeze the video and take a picture of your screen.

Cool video and great tips there! Here's how I do it. Unfortunately I'm not a photographer so I don't really have the high end equipment, actually I don't even own a camera but I am a tig welder by trade so I made this aluminum stand to hold my phone so I can take solo pics. It works pretty good, I just set the timer on my phone for 10 seconds. I'll also take a practice shot and use my livewell to hold the fish while I'm getting set up. Jon

That's a sweet camera stand... Should sell that idea to apple haha. I could use one of those things for sure!

I sit a go pro down and set it on a picture per second, then I move the fish around for 5-20 seconds and put the fish back in. I make sure I never have the sun in my back and I make sure I also have nothing but brush in my back... seems to work out... Go pro has a wide lens and have ten pics to edit usually leaves you with atleast one great pic...

Bright clothing makes for a better pic, looking at the fish makes for a better pic, takes the focus off my ugly mug.

Filming with the Iphone and taking screenshots is also a great trick!!!

Although I try every second night, my gf refuses to just follow me around with her dslr
