Warm front ice fishing report....

Made it out yesterday cautiously for some vertical jigging with somebody that is on a mission for fishing The perch where on and off, the person on a mission got a couple crappies and a few blue gills. At around 3:30 my flasher starts lighting up all over the place so I figured hey this might be a school of crappie...... NOPE Something just hammered my little butterfly buckshot and it gave me so good runs and on a medium light rod this pike might of not been the biggest but it was sure fun!!

i think hes making a trip to Syria for recrutment J/K buddy fun day on the ice looking forward to next week and doing it again,,,,,and glad you got that pike made the day interesting.

Nice report bud, catching pike on light gear is awesome. I have yet to snap off to one this season and I've hooked a bunch using my panfish rods
