I am going up to a cottage in quebec this weekend and am just wondering where the best place is to get a quebec fishing license. I am crossing at the cumberland ferry if that helps.

thanks Brian

Any Canadian Tire will do them, as well as most depanneur's you will find. They are expensive this year though,non-resident license cost me $78 this year!

Fortunately I will be making many trips to the cottage this summer so I should get my moneys worth.

When you get off the ferry there is only one road to take, at the corner( first stop sign) of the 148 and the road from the Ferry( Chemin Du Quai) there is a store called Fern Sports I am pretty sure he sells them, at least he should it's a Sports store that sells fishing and hunting equipment.

I confirm any Canadian Tire at the service counter on the quebec side will have them

Many gas stations, rural grocery stores and dépaneurs too.

Walleye boss is half correct... it is no longer Fern, he sold it a while back. It is now called ProNature

Click the link for the map.

If that is out of your way somehow or not open, maybe one closer to your destination will be open. The outlets are literally everywhere:
