Carp fishing yesterday...

Had a great day with RJ out or big carp yesterday with my boys... I know it was a good day because I'm sun burned like crazy... and all of us have sore arms.

We didn't even have all the rods in the water yet when we had our first fish. 18 lbs.

We ended up catching 11 and missing one right at the end of the day. Had a couple of real fighters and a couple that actually jumped out of the net and back into the water while we were trying to get them weighed. We had a couple of big ones, a 27lbs and 26lbs and a couple of high teens that were really big fights... took that hook and ran like they stole it.

Here are a couple more shots of the day. We JUST got out before the thunderstorm ran through.... which worked out perfect.

P.S. If anyone is looking for a great group social day of fishing Carp fishing is the ticket! I'd wager most people will catch the biggest fish of their lives! I only have 3 available dates left in June...

There was a 38 out from that same spot yesterday and I had similar results up to 27 close by. Nice pics! Some fish starting to spawn in the back bays too.

For sure we'll have to get a day planned sometime! Best time of year to be out there as you know :wink:
