Went to see the Elites in Friday. Took way too many pictures (500+).

These are my favourites

Great shots Norm.
That new lens sure brings everything up to you.
My photos don't come close to yours.

Was there Friday and Sunday and I also took way too many pics  But my favorite has to be this snap on championship sunday of Iaconelli trying for one last bite just outside the weigh in area as the other pros were filtering in.

He definitely lives by his "Never Give Up" moto.

Nope. All taken from shore. Used a Canon 70d with a Sigma 150-600 zoom. A new lens from Sigma. Coupled with an APS-C sensor on the camera , gives an effect length of 240-960.

Nice pics Norm.

If I wasn't spending so much of my $$$ on rods and reels, I'd have a 150-600 Sigma.
Which version do you have? Contemporary or sport?
Sigma sure makes very very good lenses and their prices are very very good.
I sold off most of my photography equipment and the only lens I kept is the Sigma 17-50 f2.8 along with a canon 7D
Are you familiar with the POTN site .... "Photography on the net"
Excellent site, lots of information on photography and all Canon Bodies and lenses that fit canon mount.

Here is the link if you don't already have it.
