Yesterday I wanted to brave the rain in hope to beat the odds of the weather! From start to finish my goal was just to catch some fish so I started off throwing a jackall I-shad, smallies and largies were smashing it on the first few twitches! Around noon I decided to chase some big gals! Never imagined smoking my PB but I wanted a solid fish! So I started flippin a 1/2 oz rattle back jig with a jackall darts hog as the trailer on a Gloomis GLX H and a LEWS with 65LB super slick! Started getting into nicer fish then WHAM! The pig almost ripped my arm off after flippin into the nastiest tree all day! Thanks to a nearby boat that had a scale she hit 7 lbs! Wish I had a second scale to ensure but I'll gladly agree to the 7 ahaha! Pic isn't the greatest but it was hard enough with the rain

Wow, what a pig. Big congrats on maybe a lifer pb. I'd have a smile a mile wide holding that hog.

Great catch man. Caught my PB 7lbs and 2 years ago and still trying to top it. Big fish out in this area.

Thanks ladies and gents she sure was an accomplishment of a lifetime
