Im heading that way for a weekend of ice fishing, does anyone know if the lake trout fishing is still closed during the winter on palmerston? I looked through the new regulations book out and there's no mention of it??

Palmerston is in Division 18 and not listed in the exceptions for lake trout as open all year.
See page 96

There's angling opps for lakers and splake nearby though.

Palmerston has been closed for a number of years now. Have friends on canonto and fished redhorse many times, both decent for pike/walleye if you know where to fish.

Cheers
