Rideau River gold.

Got out today for a short fish and tour on the Rideau River. This was my fiest time fishing there from the water not shore. Launched at Manotick and fished up to Kars. managed to pull in three small pike around 20 inches and a few OOS bass all released. The two highlights of the trip were my first muskie ever. It was about 26 inch and I released it in the water. It was a thrill to get one at last. I also landed my personal best pickerel. A beast 26inch one caught on a crankbait in about 12 ft of water.
